Parkinson's Talks

Following the continuing success of the annual Mervyn Peake Awards; an art, poetry and photography competition open to anyone with Parkinson's, I suggested to the events department of the charity that branches might like The Life & Work of Mervyn Peake, an hour-long talk on my father's art. Over forty branch secretaries responded to the offer, and as a result I will be speaking in halls, clubs, even a convent, over the next six months.

How wonderful. By the way, some 3 years ago I was working as a door-to-door fundraiser in Islington and happened to knock on your door. You invited me in and it was only when you signed the DD form that I said 'are you any relation of...?'

By a mad twist of fate I am now technical lead on the Earls Court Literary Festival and your name has come up again!

I would love to come and interview you if at all possible?
